These OfficialRules for the Basecamp® Fitness Challenge (the “Challenge”) are subject to change at any time at the sole discretion of Basecamp Fitness Franchisor, LLC.
Eligibility. To be eligible to enter you must beat least 18 years old, have paid the designated entry fee, and have downloaded the Basecamp Fitness Mobile Application onto your mobile phone. Participants must also have access to BasecampFitness classes required to complete the Challenge. If you are not a member of a participating Basecamp Fitness studio, upon entry, your profile will be assigned to the closest participating Basecamp Fitness studio to the address you provided for the sole purpose of tracking your Basecamp Fitness class activity and awarding milestone prizes.
Sponsorship. The sponsor is Basecamp FitnessFranchisor, LLC located at 111 Weir Dr., Woodbury, MN 55125. Sponsor will conduct the Challenge substantially as described in these Official Rules.
Challenge Period. This Challenge period (“Challenge Period”)begins on November15, 2024 at 12:01 AM CST and ends on November 28, 2024 at11:59 PM CST.
How to Enter. During the Challenge Period, to enter, eligible entrants must pay the $19.99 (Member) or $39.99 (Non-Member) entry fee to any participating Basecamp Fitness studio and identify a partner or “Basecamp Buddy.” Basecamp Fitness membership is not required for entry or participation. Non-members will receive access only to the participating Basecamp Fitness studio at which they signed up for the Challenge for the Challenge Period only.
Restrictions.One entry per person during the Challenge Period. Participants are limited to one (1) partner, teams are limited to two (2) people total. Classes may be subject to limited availability.
Medals. Each participant whose team completes a combined total of 15 classes within the ChallengePeriod will receive a participation medal. Participant must contact the studio directly to arrange for the collection of their medal.
The failure to comply with the foregoing requirements may cause the participant to forfeit their medal(s). participant Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or participant and may refuse to award a medal to a person who is not eligible, has violated a rule, or gained unfair advantage. No other form of entry is valid. Sponsor reserves the right, but not the obligation, to review any entry for violation of the OfficialRules and may, in its sole discretion, reject or otherwise exclude an entry if deemed invalid or ineligible. Participant agrees to accept the medal “as is”and entrants hereby acknowledge that Sponsor is not, in any manner, responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee relative to the medal.Additional terms and conditions may apply and Sponsor shall not be responsible or liable in any way for any cancellations, losses or damages. Participant is solely responsible for any applicable federal, state, and local taxes.
All participants who achieve the milestone within the Challenge Period will receive the medal.
DISCLAIMERS, CONSENT AND RELEASE. By entering this Challenge, you promise to abide by the Official Rules and decisions of theSponsor, which will be final and binding in all respects.
By entering, each entrant releases, discharges and holds harmless the Sponsor and its affiliated companies, and any other party associated with the development, communication or administration of this Challenge, their parent, subsidiary, and affiliated entities, and each of their respective officers, directors, members, shareholders, employees, independent contractors, agents, representatives, successors and assigns
(collectively,“Sponsor Entities”), from any and all claims and liability of any kind arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, out of their participation in the Challenge, including without limitation legal claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages, demands or actions of any kind, or for any computer, network, technical, electronic, human or other errors or problems of any kind, for any injury or damage to participants from participating or to any participant’s wearable fitness tracker, computer or mobile phone relating to or resulting from entering or downloading materials or software in connection with entering. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any entry it believes violates these rules, is inappropriate or offensive or is inconsistent with the intent of the promotion.
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Challenge if it is not capable of completion as planned for any reason as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, including, for example, by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, force majeure or technical failures of any sort. Sponsor Entities are not responsible for errors in the administration or fulfillment of this Challenge and may cancel, terminate or modify this at its sole discretion without liability.
APPLICABLE LAWS AND JURISDICTION. This Challenge is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Issues concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota without regard to any principles of conflict of laws. All disputes arising out of or connected with thisChallenge will be resolved individually, and without resort to class action, exclusively by a state or federal court located in the State of Minnesota. To the extent permitted by applicable law, all judgments or awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket damages (excluding attorneys’ fees) associated with participation in this Challenge and shall not include any indirect, punitive, incidental and/or consequential damages.
Entrant’s Personally Identifiable Information. Information collected from entrants is subject to Basecamp Fitness Franchisor, LLC’s PrivacyPolicy.
